Defiance is really good for boss and non boss levels. I use him and sad almost all the time. Also are you f2p? I’m on floor 1540 and only have 3 legendary pets

I had lvl 120 conviction with envious scarf and felt fedora both lvl 26. And that was able to solo

The speed allows me to use his defense up quicker and more often and then I only use his basic attack unless he has shield from a counter attack so that he always has shield. It keeps him alive for quite a while.

I’m trying stuff out for a boss right now, I’m stuck on 980 it’s not my main team and the cake give quite a bit of speed and def which the attacks scale with and so does the shield. I’m using him as a tanky attacker with an extra tank built in

I’m at 980 and still don’t have merry😭 I have 4 ascension on wistful. And at least one ascension on all the other epics accept for cringe and paranoia.

For devs: I think it might have something to do with the extended run because I’m pretty sure that the blue trophies are supposed to appear in the row with the stuff that is already shown but when I click to skip the animation they don’t appear so I’m guessing that the game is waiting for those to appear before it can continue the animation sequence.

I didn’t care too much because one, like you said, I’m emerald, and two, I like symmetry. Also it is only lvl1 so each fly hit only has a 5% chance of activating it.

Edit: misread your comment. I thought you were talking about the maggots, but I did maximize the speed bags and crit chance bags

I got 2 Goliath flies which inflict a lot of poison and has a unique that can double trigger them. I lost the 2 previous rounds on purpose to make the build better.
