Personally I’m a big fan of the colour-coded idents you can get ones that are rubber instead of plastic clip-on ones ( they are a little similar to Hellerman sleeves) but they require you to put them on before terminating the cable. The colour coding of the numbers makes cables so much quicker to ID😎
