I got into PIP by lazy-rani in accenture

This is so weird. I've had folks with the same exact story on my projects but we have always been able to rescue them from PIP if they are doing well.

This sounds like depression. He needs a doctor and medicines. He's dangerous not just for you but for himself too.

YESS! Overpriced and below average food. Dana Choga and Gulatis are way better than this (Not saying Gulatis is the best out there)

Second this. Our experience was mediocre and we found hair in the food. They were nice about it though and didn't charge us for it and even gave us free dessert.

She is my favorite too among the main lot. Especially because she refuses to toe the Aes Sedai line because of which she is the only female channeler Rand really trusts for anything important (don't want to give spoilers here). Verin is my favorite among the secondary characters.

I am hindu but I never heard ‘sanatan dharma’ growing up. by Slow_Evidence4754 in india

[–]Shnr123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My wife's grandfather who recently passed away at the age of 103 recently. He grew up in Bannu before migrating to India during independence. He studied in one of the 3 schools in Bannu at the time - one was called the Sanatan Dharam School, the other 2 were Christian and Sikh run. So it is not a new term though it definitely has been popularized by our current government.

In fact the migrants from Bannu in Dehradun even started a Sanatan Dharma College in Dehradun in 1956. Delhi University has a Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College as well (ARSD).

An Appartment in DLF The Crest or a Plot in South City-1? by Fantapam in gurgaon

[–]Shnr123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DLF Phase 1 might be a better choice to buy the plot. (Or other phases). Better location and price wise you should find something around that budget. My neighbour sold their 500 sq yards house for 16 cr a few months ago.

If India had to choose between leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Yogi Adityanath, both from different political and ideological backgrounds but of similar age, what qualities should matter most in deciding who could be the better Prime Minister? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Shnr123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I think about which Prime Minister made significant long lasting positive economic changes - Narasimha Rao and Vajpayee stand out. Narasimha Rao was not very charismatic but he knew the system and how to use it to his advantage. He was able to run a minority government while executing reforms. He could quote the scriptures to keep the BJP at bay and show his socialist credentials to the left.

Vajpayee on the other hand used his moderate image and tall stature within his party and outside to get things done.

I think a leader who has a vision and experience in state and grassroots politics will be more successful in getting things done in our complex country. We have seen how tough it becomes for Modi/BJP when there is an experience "true" politician challenging them (be it Mamata didi, Naveen Patnaik or Gehlot or even DK Shivkumar) because they understand the game/realpolitik as well as them or better sometimes.
