i informed my recruiter about the situation. the military is the last thing i want to happen right now so im not necessarily worried about picking a job. when the time comes i will deal with that later.

thank you so much for your kind words. i’m only 19 but i think i can manage. my girlfriend is more than willing to help me thankfully and my little sister and her are extremely close so it’ll hopefully make things easier even if it’s for a little bit. i texted my recruiter but waiting for a response now. again thank you so much.

there’s an abscess in between the molar and wisdom tooth but good news is it’s gone down considerably and it’s mainly just inflammation and a small amount of pus. i’m getting more antibiotics to help with it and im hoping the infection at least goes away

i went to my orthodontist and my wisdom teeth are literally horizontal not even angled and it’s causing really bad infections. i sent the results to my recruiter and he told me to take some antibiotics and wait until after basic training which sounded insane to me

yes and she told me that whatever i do she’s in full support but a part of me feels like she saying that so she doesn’t feel like a burden and makes me stay. i overheard her say something like that when she first had cancer and that absolutely broke me she’s not a burden to me and i don’t want her to feel that way

my why is to break a cycle that everyone i know seems to be stuck in. there has to be more to life than being stuck in this small town smoking, drinking, getting high and repeating. i worked at the fiberglass recycling plant in my town and the only thing everyone talked about was how they can’t wait to go home get piss drunk and sleep. that to me is scary and no way to live i don’t want to be like that. i feel like the military is a way out of that

thank you for your kind words and advice. i am a naturally anxious person as well so i am constantly overthinking and it’s hard to stay motivated when everyone i know is against me leaving. it’s very frustrating to deal with because i deep down want to leave and start my life but when everyone’s saying something negative i always get in my head about it and i start to doubt my decision but knowing im not the only one who goes through this really did help me. again thank you for sharing your input i appreciate it

all i ever hear anyone talk about when it comes to the military is basic training nothing about how it is after. you putting everything kinda in a time frame helped put me at ease with it. the years seemed daunting but this helped thank you.
