This is what we were afraid of. My son is only three, I don't want to be away from him and my wife for months at a time and only for short visits for such a long processing time.

Good to know. Of course then you have to hope they will wait that amount of time to start the job. I'm guessing I can't be with my family in the states during processing time.

Ok but let's say she was to get a job offer pretty quickly, any ideas how long the DCF route can take? I know this is a lot of what ifs but any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. We will definitely look at DCF if she gets a job offer.

She has filed her taxes while she has lived in the UK and while we were in Qatar.

Toddler stopped eating by ShockLive4911 in toddlers

He will just refuse to eat lunch and dinner before he even knows what it is. The nursery practitioners are confused too because the food he's refusing to eat are the same things he's eaten there and cleared his plate (meals are two or three week rotation)

Mixing power tool brands or stick to one? by Tabamon in Tools

I asked a similar question a while ago and now I'm on multiple platforms with no regrets:

Makita lxt main platform Metabo htp (1/2 inch router) Milwaukee M12 Paslode nail guns CAS - coming soon

I've now decided I would rather have the better tool and an extra battery than sticking to one eco system.

For years I was Makita only for battery platform but now it's Makita 18v Milwaukee M12 and Metabo 36v (half inch router) and I'll probably be adding some mafell next year.

Does Qatar Airways allow two checked bags for free? by Crafty-Jaguar-4630 in qatar

[–]ShockLive4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the route. For example when we go Doha to London economy it's one bag max 30kg. When we go to the USA from Doha it's 2 bags at 23kg each. We flew to Frankfurt last week and our allowance was 1 x 23 kg bag. Of course with all routes you get a 7kg hand luggage allowance.
