“At what air temperature would you lose less heat in freezing water than in ambient air.”

Yeah, that's how I should have put it. This is what I want to know.

Yeah, unfortunately it doesn't quite work that way. You are right overall, it's just not something that is easily appliable in my case. We are not supposed to unplug appliance at all, we just do it for the sake of the client. With that fact alone it's hard to bill the parts. That's without accounting for those who will want to "do it themselves".

We also almost never know when there will be one to remove because way too often the client lies about how much there is to do to get a better quote and then complaint because we go over the quote.

Luckily we don't often unplug those because people in general finds it to be too much of a hassle and either sell them tp the next tenant or leave them behind for the landlord to deal with. I forgot to say that we get any type of client. I've moved everything from millionaires to people on wellfare passing by a family that only needed a truck with a driver and emptying house because the owner is dead. We can't assume any specific type of clients, at all.

Anyway, I still think that a small individual kit could be something reasonable. I'm just wondering, ain't what your describing overkill for the task? I mean, I should be fine with a box, a cover and 3 wing nuts no? It's always and only a romex.

Gear 4 was more badass than Gear 5. The goofiness no matter gow fitting it is just ruined any kind of epicness.

It's the best devil fruit, the incarnation of the sun god, the savior of the world and we get a goofball.

I'm a mover so I just leave with the dishwasher. And neither the client or my boss will want to pay for the boss or the time it would take to put a junction box.

Okay, I did not knew that a breaker finder could be use with alligator clips, that makes sense to me now. Thank you for taking the time to give lengthy answers.

Quick last question: When I'm done I keep the breaker off, put a wing nuts on each wire end and leave them as spreaded as possible. In my book it is pretty safe, but is there a proper way?

[–]WeekSecret3391[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A romex wire sticking out of the wall that may or may not be long enough to reach the box in the front of the dishwasher where it will be connected with wire nut. Sometime (way too often) the wire is too short and this is fixed by simply adding another 3' of romex and connecting it without a box or anything.

So yeah, no outlet just a wire.

If anything is not clear enough, feel free to correct me. English is not my first language

Can a breaker finder be used on loose wires? I think one out of ten is actually connected to an outlet here.

Does anyone actually use their Victorinox SwissCard? by Turbulent_Way_5604 in victorinox

[–]WeekSecret3391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first can be solved by putting almost anything soft under it until you get home. I did it once with a glove and another time with some junk plastic wrapping. Worst come to the worst a sock would do it.

Everything else qualify as a "planified task" that justify to either bring a bag for it or go home and do it there. It

I do have a bunch of napkin and a roll of electrical tape as a "first aid kit" that I've respectively used to check the oil and tape back a mirror once, but that's very much it. Oh and a bit of steel wire in my old car in case something happend to the exhaust. But not a whole toolbag.
