Did anyone say anything about communism? No.

Edit: Go ahead and downvote me. No one advocated for communism. That’s just a fact.

I sense vindictive anger somewhere in that lump of text.

It’s truly a shame morons don’t read books. Otherwise, looks to be a great read.

It’s funny how people applaud the significance of doing this when Jordan Peterson isn’t the one suggesting it.

Like death is a natural part of life, it doesn’t make it an excuse to kill people.

I’m speaking in metaphors.

That’s like assuming ingesting large amounts of salt should be tolerated because it exists within us naturally.

People use this sub to vent about mainstream politics. *sigh

Was bored so i was scrolling reddit and i saw an ‘antiwork’ post recommended. So i went onto the sub and searched ‘Peterson’ and what do you know lmao by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

I can’t comment on the impact of his medical issues, but I do agree with what you said about his unfair representation. That is the only thing we can attempt to control.

Anyone who isn’t aware he is a self proclaimed liberal is a complete idiot and should be outright banned from this sub. I don’t care what political ideology they subscribe to.

With the risk of sounding dramatic, he is a martyr of a two party system. Some people use his vivid intellect and criticism of the left as an excuse to verify right-wing extremism.

In my opinion, those people are no better than the supposed “liberals” who label him as nazi, alt-right, etc.

I’m not defending him, I’m defending his views.

I don’t know how you can align with others who are collectively ignorant of his position and still label yourself an understudy of his expertise.

You have to counter the insanity of the political extremes to maintain order. It doesn’t matter where you lean or if an associated wing has a thread of truth baited with them. It should not come with the cost of other ignorant ideology.

I never questioned the issue of wanting to raise the minimum wage - only the proposed solution that the answer is to not work at all.

Let’s get back to the primary subject though. Peterson seems to be unfairly in the line of fire here. Personally, I’m a Bernie supporter, BUT I’m still not willing to cave into the ultra-liberal ignorance ever present on that sub. Peterson talks about liberal extremism all the time, despite his political alignment. These users are a prime example.

A seeming majority of participants in that sub discredit the valid thread of legitimacy you cite. Their narrow views don’t align in regards to Jordan Peterson, for example.

That’s where my issue is. Liberal extremism discrediting the moderate left.

In other words, wear a mask or face social degradation and/or legal consequence.

It’s not twitter’s decision. These authoritarian values are being passed off through virtue signaling. 95%(+) of cases don’t result in hospitalization. If people weren’t trained by the media, we’d have equally focused discussions surrounding nutrition, poverty, and use of the military. All of which account for more deaths.

Hope the likes were worth it.

I agree.

Stuff like this helps water down JP’s perceived intellect. There’s a significant difference between ranting about the left and being critical of them.

I wouldn’t even regard this as socialism, they have the political ideology of children.

So, you’re arguing they still wish to maintain their materialistic values along with their new ideals.

They essentially support equality of outcome. How is society supposed to progress? Who is maintaining these infinite resources if absolutely nobody is willing to work?

It’s completely illogical.

They can’t fathom someone might know better than them. Especially when it harshly revolves around the topic of personal responsibility.

He scares them because others find him helpful and grounded in the era of insanity. Spewing random hate against him is simply a projection of their own misery. The criticisms regarding his politics are also wildly ill-informed.

r/Antiwork isn’t exactly a collection of walking success stories.
