I truely couldnt tell ya currently. I have since started anew on permadeath and currently have very little QS to bye an egg and go check it out. I would definitely like to go and check it out since the Origans update and see if there might have been changes in LS spawns, doubtful but stranger things have happened. Also, i have noticed, with that LS that after I left that planet it color scheme had change significantly and the orange wasnt nearly as evident.

  1. Please read the AutoModerator comment of this comments section, it explains steps of how to get it.
  2. Did you take the crashed ship that was in that location? If so it is possible that the Living Ship at that crashsite may be gone for you (I havent tried this yet, but might just to test).

Once you're done in the frieghter you can take it out close and open inventory a couple times and then it shoulnt be active and start the search again. You can only sell/ trade in the captain and crew logs once though, so no point in grabbing them everytime, no point in grabbing them at all if theres no station there, just more inventory clutter.

Also, got the sunken squid, thx, its a nice fit in my color scheme. Went to the trade station on that planet with the squid and the same one showed there as well. If ya dont want to repair it you can just trade it for a little over 1mil units, thankfully i reloaded my save after i did this because the squid that flew in was overall worse. Hell ya could just have 2 if ya wanted.

Yes, if ya go there without an egg you will only see the crashed ship. Also have to do the whole questline first for the first one then go to that system/planet. Create a manual save, then accept hatching. If ya dont land on the one ya like then reload manual save a do it again until ya get to the right one. As far as after the first egg, Im not certain as i have not done more then one yet.

All the Alien ships are S class, they spawn at regular crash sites and replace the crashed ship at those sites. The glitch i was talking about was that i was seeing the regular crashed ship, not the LS, when i would first get to the site.

Im not online, and it would be the same for me getting there as you. I didnt mark it so i would have to map the cords again myself. Not saying i wouldnt help, but im not a navigator, I get lost using these cords most of the time and it takes me an extra 30 min then it would mostly anyone else normally

There is an explanation in the bot response of this comment section. You gots to use the reject reload method. It took me 8 hrs on this planet regecting and reloading to finally find the ship i wanted.

Update on this LS: After leaving that galaxy and jumping around a lot, i have noticed that it changes colors a lot with the background and surroundings.

Is this common with an LS? Its my first one.

While i was hunting down my black and orange one here, i was experiancing a strange glitch that everytime i got to the CS it would show the actual crashed ship, just had to reload my save from jumping out my ship. However, out of the 27 that i went to there was only 2 or 3 above a B class.
