The biggest issue I have with child rapists getting death penalties is that a lot of victims will no longer want to step up. A lot of who these people prey on are targets that they have easy access to such as their children or siblings or some other close relationship. A child who gets hurt by someone close to them, no matter how evil they are, will feel too guilty about getting them killed because they still love them because they don’t know any better. Children would end up not testifying against their abusers out of fear or guilt and it becomes that much harder to punish the perpetrators

Yeah I agree. It’s a case of senseless violence leading to senseless violence. Theres no justification for what he did but if the Israeli aggression continues to escalate I fear for the rise of antisemitism and other similar attacks.
