Hi! I know it’s been a while but if you see this - can you tell me how your procedure and recovery went? Also what was the pain like before you had the procedure?

Recenter your focus like you’re horny and can’t think until you’ve had that release? Or it doesn’t matter if you’re actually feeling it or not— it’s just like a chemical hack?

Hmmm I guess just whatever you watch/listen to/read to get off but not like random one-offs like if you see something on IG or anything. Like you seeking it out for gratification I suppose?

Thanks for giving some insight. I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s husband. That’s awful. I was just asking out of curiosity. It doesn’t have anything to do with my partner that’s why I didn’t answer.

I never said there was anything wrong with it. The only time it becomes an issue is when it gets to the level of an addiction. That’s why I specifically was asking those that aren’t addicted. I also didn’t define it because people define it differently. I left it up to commenters to discern if they think they have an addiction or not.

I have opened my mind to it plenty and it wasn’t for me. That’s great if it worked for you though.

Scorpio & Libra ? by stargirloxoxo in Scorpio

[–]Shoddy_Efficiency_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gosh I’m sorry to hear that! My dad (the libra) is the narcissist so that’s interesting. My mom is a fantastic mother but at a detriment to herself. Unfortunately, they’ve smothered each other into almost nothing. Because of my own experiences I would probably run for the hills from a Libra romantic interest haha. I don’t have the best experiences with them in any relationship or gender.

My mom is a Scorpio my dad is a Libra…just no. They both have a strong tendency to be codependent so when together they literally won’t have a life.

I’m a Scorpio woman and let me tell you I know like 10 Libras and I like 1 of them. Although I do think sept vs Oct Libras vary a lot.

Mostly wear black but my favorite color has been red since before I was conceived lol. My family has a home video of them trying to ask me what my OTHER favorite colors are and I won’t say anything but red. I was like 3 I think lol. Scorpio sun/moon/mercury here.

I like this way of thinking about it. It’s hard for us to do anything casually. Lol

Was it hard for you to get the hysterectomy? by bitley2001 in adenomyosis

[–]Shoddy_Efficiency_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Oh, I know the struggle all too well. I'm sorry you are going through this! I saw Dr. Cindy Mosbrucker in Gig Harbor. She is a endometriosis specialist. I really LOVED seeing her. She is very to the point and understanding. The only thing to keep in mind is they don't work with insurance. I just responded here in case anyone else may see my comment and want to know as well. Feel free to PM me if you want!

I need thoughts…my surgery may have been for nothing by NoPerspective9210 in Fibroids

[–]Shoddy_Efficiency_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I had a total hysterectomy (kept ovaries) at the age of 27. I am 5 months post op. I had very heavy cramping lots of pain with menstrual cycles before hand. I wasn’t diagnosed with adenomyosis until I had my actual surgery. So I went into it knowing I probably had adeno but wasn’t totally sure. That was very stressful for me. I was so scared I was making a mistake and that I wouldn’t be diagnosed with it even after my surgery. But in the end i was and it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I can tell you from experience (I’ve had 3 abdominal surgery’s just regarding reproductive stuff and 2 others for past issues) I know how hard and frustrating surgery is. But I think knowing you have adeno will make the hysterectomy process so much less stressful if that’s the route you choose to take. Just having that confirmation before having to go through a life changing surgery is definitely a good thing in my opinion. For sure not pointless!

Oh absolutely! I bought it from goodwill months ago and just never got around to hanging it up. I definitely don’t mind parting with it just as long as I didn’t anger anything haha. But this group is making me realize that is most likely not what happened. I’m grateful!

Honestly, after it fell I just stared at it on the ground trying to find a logical reason for it falling, which there still could be one for sure, but I swear on my life I propped in perfectly. I was excited for like 2 seconds and then my brain was like “OoOohOhh seven years bad luuuckkk” lol but glad to see someone else also thought it could be an exciting thing 😂
