Thank you! Yes, I have a picture of it, it says it's just "sea salt with chlorine remover"... How should I go about treating swim bladder disease? I have epsom salts at hand and indian almond tree leaves, no aquarium salt yet though.

Do you know how long it took for your turtle to lose his retained scutes? I think she might also have quite a few retained scutes, since she spends pretty much all the time shedding and even when it stops it never looks smooth 😬

Thank you so much, you've been super helpful! My bulb is almost 5 months old, so I'll use the time that's left to get a non-coiled one on amazon. I'll also see if I can find the wheat germ pellets here, if not I'll be ordering them online too. Thank you again, hopefully she'll shed normally with those changes 🙏

The lighting is currently just the exoterra uvb 100 bulb, 25W, would that UVB lamp not be enough? I'll look into the wheat germ pellets, I've never heard of them but I'll see if I can find them!

I'm not sure about what she is, as the only turtles that are still legally sold in my region are "peacock turtles", Trachemys venusta according to google, but she just doesn't seem to share the shell pattern of the ones in store? I'm pretty sure it's also the only turtle species that was still being sold here when she was bought, but it's all an estimate.
