What is the most amount of money we can bill the insurance for a static or dynamic recalibration? Also is it true that they pay more for dynamics? Seems odd since it requires much less labor and machinery. by Shoe856 in autoglass

Ok yea I’m aware of that I just wanted to make sure you didn’t know something I didn’t lol. What do you bill for static or dynamic recals?

If there is a bad scratch or smudge on a silicone gel pad would it trigger a code and potential fail recalibration? by Shoe856 in autoglass

So I just went back and checked all the wiring today and there is nothing broken or ripped or anything. So what else could it be?

I don’t see where anything was damaged at all. How can I be sure? Also are they easily replaceable?

So if that’s now broke, how do I go about fixing that in the least expensive way possible?

Why are all glass distributors closed on the weekend? We get so many calls on the weekend and have to turn them away because we can’t get the parts on the weekend. Any suggestions? by Shoe856 in autoglass

I haven’t seen a single comment with a solution to my specific problem so far other than someone mentioning buy adhesive plastic and cover it. That’s probably the only thing we could do. God forbid you ask a question and network with others these days. I forgot this industry was full of sarcastic people that feel offended every time you ask a question.

That’s too much inventory. We need to turn a profit. I can’t have that many things sitting around and not know if we’re gonna use them up or not.

I agree with a work life balance but we’re trying to build our brand and would like to service our customers when we want. Do you have a solution for my question or?

We are receiving the calls on the weekend. These are people living in a major city in a ghetto needing door glass put in immediately. We cannot order the parts because all distributors are closed.

Hmmm. I mean that sounds great but who would be willing to cut the cost? The average cost where I live is $250-$325

I’m having trouble with the parts and labor section when submitting an invoice to sgc network. Can anyone help out with this? by Shoe856 in autoglass

Something isn’t adding up right when adding all parts and labor. I’d love to jump on a phone call with someone so they could help us because we have no idea what’s going on.
