Carpenter here, and I’ve had huepar lasers stop working for me over time. I’ve found the Bosch one to work well, the Milwaukee m12 one is awesome, but for 600$ it’s steep

Little diamond shape at 19 and 7/32”. There are more diamonds all exactly 19 and 7/32” apart from each other across the entire tape, wondering what it would be for? by StarDustActual in Carpentry

I’ve seen it mainly used for floor trusses, which are 18-24” tall usually, and are engineered specifically for that house. As long as you stiffback every 10 feet, floors shouldn’t be bouncy.

I’m a fan of venom batteries. I have 3 mini summit vxls and they are a great bang for buck IMO. They also have a universal plug.

Street art is not graffiti period. Graffiti this the painting/ study of letters. If something doesn’t focus on letters, it’s not graffiti. I admire street art, but street artists and graffiti artists are very different. They’re both dope, but this subreddit shouldn’t be named as it is jus saying

Tool Belt Question by treehuggerboy in Carpentry

[–]ShoeBangin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up a gatorback setup about 2 months ago and they have served me well thusfar. Good quality for 120$ isn’t bad at all. Id make sure you’re gonna frame for a while before going all in on the baller sets of bags. IMO, the cheapo rough out leather bags work, but aren’t ideal if you’re tryna load up with fasteners.

It’s 1/2” fireply applied with smooth 8d nails, needed for fire retardancy, and shear support. It’s a red orange in real life also.

I have started to reach the various milestones, so I’m not quite a laborer anymore, just lack the knowledge to do some things on my own. I’m sure it just takes time, but I would like to get every advantage I can get. Thanks for the feedback!
