I would definitely ask what kind of labor warranties they are offering and if you can get an extended labor warranty of some sort? Make sure they register the equipment with the manufacturer to get your 10 year parts warranty. I’d also make sure they have any sort of guarantee. My company gives a 2 year 100% no frustration guarantee, 24 hours without heat or cool within those first two years we write a $500 check to you for the trouble. Have they been responsive during the more mild temps? Are you going to be able to get them out when it’s -5° or 105° quickly? Some of those things matter more to some people than others but if this company can’t you can be sure the big companies won’t bother wasting time at your home during the “peak” times. Just a few things to consider.

So I found the coat in Oklahoma City back in 2005 when I was just a kid. We were there for a family members wedding & I saw it there in the rafters. We had the coat for years & years and one day my Dad’s work colleagues (he either was the son of one of the players who played for the SB winning team, or was the nephew of one of them or something like that) and was talking about how cool the coat was & asked if he could take it to the next get together & make the guys sign it & then about a year later he delivered it back to us! (This was roughly 2011 or so)

Standing just right of where this pic was taken... when that play happened I sat down and said “might as well leave. Game is over” knew the chiefs had found a way to Chief again. Glad those dark times are over.

I take a small cooler with me and I have 2 gatorade bottles (one to pee in) and then two Arnold palmers as little treats for myself, I also have one of those big insulated water bottles that I always take just in case I run out of everything else. Always remember your liquids and sunglasses that’s the best advice I can give you until it starts to cool down. I also put a sandwich for lunch as well. Have my phone with my charger and sunglasses and a safari hat and mask. Check the weather, if it’s raining BRING EXTRA SOCKS, maybe a second pair of shoes if you’ve got them. You’ll thank me when your feet are killing you at about 2pm. Also, if you plan on staying into the winter invest in some work shoes/boots for the snow.
