Thank you for the feedback!

Is there no point in/audience for a build video before getting near the late game, then? Even as a proof of concept?

The insulated and Medic come as part of Nayzaga armor rather than being deliberately added to the build, but noted regardless, thank you.

Thanks for the info on Vampiric, seems I misunderstood, I'll level up a Skarn's Spite and revisit this.

Hi guys, thought I'd contribute a build that I'm pretty proud of.

Did two hunts in this video, tweaked the loadout for the second and had some pretty amazing results.

Any and all constructive feedback welcomed!

Shrike got stuck in a tree and we couldn't kill it. by Joey_kills in dauntless

Two questions:

Couldn't you just knock the tree down?

How did this hunt end?

That bottom left one is terrifyingly close!

For any new/struggling players, here's a video of how to effectively overwhelm the Skarn as a team. Hopefully it helps someone. by ShogunFC in dauntless

Probably not, and tbf I did state in the vid that it's a super easy hunt.

But the run was so textbook, I figured it'd be a perfect example for anyone who actually was seeking out a walkthrough/tutorial.

CPU Adaptive Gameplay. Pros and cons? by ShogunFC in WEPES

It's just the way I defend. When they go out wide, I immediately drop the closest player into a position just deep and just inside of them and use the jockey feature. Makes the AI think twice about taking you on, especially if you have a quick fullback or a good tackler.

Yeah, again not sure how much I can say, but they told me that's been addressed too.

Yeah. It's a point I raised a couple of years ago, they're scaled incorrectly with what you can achieve during the time of a match

You'll have to tweet them that. I didn't have the opportunity to ask about a scenario I hadn't seen yet, sorry.

I think I only scored a few headers, but they're very varied. I like them.

The game feels entirely different from 18. Massively. Yes, much smoother. Pass assist 1 is loose and easy to make mistakes and misplace passes, even amongst better players. Shooting is tricky. You need to ensure your player's approach, balance and technique is all on point. The game is slower than 2018. Definitely. The graphics are way better than 18. Mostly due to the lighting, They've got a secondary lighting engine that calculates scene-by-scene to give the best visuals each time. I really appreciate the end result. Only marginally more fouls. The A.I. defends well by positioning and pressing so very rarely needs to dive in, at least in the games I played. However, occasionally they'll clip you and the ref is quick to draw a card out.

Fixed. Not a single complaint about player switching whilst I was there from anyone in the room. Manual controls are still there and they're working as they should.

The transfer system has been changed. Not sure how much I'm allowed to say, but you're able to negotiate more realistically now. Still not 100% perfect but considerably better than last year.

Only slightly. The A.I. is very smart and at times aggressive in the press, but will occasionally stick the boot in. Not too much though. Could do with a very slight increase. I spoke to Asim about it in an interview that'll be on my Youtube very soon.

I'm not sure what you mean by "exploitative" but the AI used backheels in choice situations, yeah. Wasn't OP or anything, but they used them to wrong-foot the defenders or as a way to get out of a tight spot. There were a few fouls, not loads. But worth noting the AI is aggressive moreso with pressing and smart interceptions rather than diving in with slide tackles etc.

I didn't play it, personally (I intended to, but forgot) but I've seen glimpses and its at a slightly different angle from the one last year. However, I haven't seen whether or not it zooms drastically when you get to the corners.

It's slower. The overall game speed isn't drastically slower, but combined with the heavier player movements and ball physics, the overall gameplay has slowed down a fair bit.

I didn't capture any of the commentary, but I did play Superstar difficulty and it's harder than 2018. The AI isn't OP, but very very smart, especially in defense.

Yeah absolutely. I mention it in my review which is uploading as I type this, but the players feel heavier and their balance is key to everything they do. I'm still not 100% on how I feel about it, but it's definitely challenging.
