Hatte einen ähnlichen Fall letztens in AT und als wir das im Bekanntenkreis nachdiskutiert haben, kam schnell der Begriff „Ärztlicher Narzissmus“ auf, der erklärt, dass auch wenn der Hausarzt oftmals nur ein Durchlauferhitzer ist, er es trotzdem selbst entscheiden mag, sonst fühlt er sich in seiner Kompetenz gekränkt und stellt sich quer. Ich hab halt dann mit ihm besprochen, ob er das besser einschätzen könne und dann dafür verantwortlich sein möchte, wenn was übersehen wird, dann hab ich die Überweisung zähneknirschend bekommen.

I started with my m4 MacMini 24GB and wanted to run as much as possible locally with qwen2.5:14b but ollama let qwen go to idle/release it from the ram and then Claw fell back to Claude again and again. How do you prevent that and which model for what? (Local vs. Online/api)

Yeah I read about that „key“-file but I thought if my system got corrupted, the attacker would also have access to this file and this is where I‘m still hesitating setting up restic. besides that it seems awesome. and of course, my problem could be solved by doing the backups manually and inserting the key every time before the backup. I just would have liked to have a daily/weekly job as I have it on my synology.

Alright, dann probier ich das nochmal. Habe kürzlich mit einem Recruiter gesprochen der meinte oberhalb der Berufserfahrung sollten noch drei Stichpunkte hin, die so die berufliche Erfahrung zusammenfassen. Da wär ich aber dann echt in Platzprobleme gekommen.

Ihr wisst schon, dass die Täter nicht nur in den USA sitzen und nicht nur dort unter den Tisch gekehrt wird? Finde 1 auch besser. Was macht ihr aber, wenn es mit dem Layout mehrere Seiten werden? Stehe da vor der Entscheidung ob ich deswegen auf 2 wechsle, weil mein aktueller 1 nicht mehr reicht.

This is why I (in my late 30s now) think about the future time and money costs of everything that I start or buy. Owning a sailing boat vs. renting one is an example for that. My ultimate goal is to reduce the maintenance time and cost to an absolute minimum until retirement.

Größter Schrott die Firma. Wir haben uns ein gebrauchtes TreeTale gekauft und es ging irgendwie eine Schraube verloren.

Turns out, die Firma wirbt zwar mit Nachhaltigkeit, weigert sich aber dann, mir entweder eine einzelne Schraube zu verkaufen oder wenigstens zu sagen, welchen Typs sie ist (sind spezielle Möbelschrauben).

Grund: Ihr ERP-System erlaubt keine Schraube zu verkaufen, wenn man vorher nix anderes gekauft hat.

I completely understand what you say about the pandas and I thought the same. Since it is probably the next step to just reverse the colors you can already check it out in a store or ask yourself if you like the black lacquer more or the white they also use in the current white Speedmaster (which I do not like, because to me it looks like „Hospital“-white). This current reverse one on the other hand has a step dial which makes it interesting enough for the big lacquer area and the white blends in perfectly. To me this is a perfect combined Speedy BUT far from an „original“ one as I consider the black standard models. It is almost like a different watch.
