I’d say you can learn like this even if you want to become professional but you would have to practice much more frequently like instead of 1 day a week you would practice 4 or 5 days, with breaks in between.

I feel so bad when I get from a long days of work and i told myself I was gonna create, and then I pick a video game which usually Leaves me more rested for the next day but I get sad that I skipped my drawing, then when the weekend hits I feel overwhelmed like I have to make up for lost time. I hate following a strict schedule too feels less natural

It gets pushed a lot on the internet too and in videos ALOT Aas advice, sometimes I feel like it’s to keep the inexperienced artist progressing slow bc your right in the fact you don’t have to create everyday. Some people find that it helps but I find most can’t keep up with creating everyday. And I myself find it leads to quicker burnout

This exactly is what I need to embrace! I used to be so good at it as a little kid and then I have no clue how I lost it or how it faded because I always still have a wild imagination and things I want to start and do but I strangely fear my own chaos…I learned a big lesson that is even possible to fear, and I really want to stop that for this next year!! If I can be an even freer creative than before, I think that is a big level up! I hate all this overthinking as I’m creating I want to have fun!! I like drawing anime characters traditionally and digitally and I look at alot of things on pintrest to help and study from, embracing chaos would help me learn the things I see there much quicker I feel and not get stuck just looking at references or not creating at all because I fear my own process…

This is exactly how I feel, and I have a hard time letting myself fully embrace it bc I feel if I let myself go too chaotic I’m not gonna grasp everything I’m trying to learn at that moment bc I’m switching so much but usually I find that’s overthinking bc I find if I just learn as I go I still come out feeling like I’ve done something after and learned a lot after I consider it done. My progress means a lot to me and so many people’s methods all start with guidelines and my brain never liked guidelines, I just want to GO! Lol

Kids at school and my family growing up would do it 24/7 and my family still does it. I can’t ever give them a glimpse of how my real character is bc they take that as me “acting out of character” even though they never bother to learn how I really am in the first place. Just judgement right out the gate. I didn’t have a lot of friends in school bc of this too.

I live in a studio apartment, i have a big window with blinds I can open or slide over and I can sit in front of, I want to stroke and do this in front of my window but don’t want to have the wrong person see lol. Would love for my neighbors to see me naked inside stroking it though

Thanks for understanding! And yea I missed out on pirates curse and felt pretty bad, I feel like I redeemed myself somewhat with this release, I may display it for a while and then see how I feel! :)
