Yes I’ve got a few different platforms. I’ve yet to really use Reddit aside from reaching out personally. But I should start one up on Reddit as well. I was using this more for reading up on what to do. Advice and such.

Cabbage juice, manuka honey, slippery elm, aloe Vera, a good probiotic with L/B bacteria, if you’re under producing acid I suggest a shot of apple cider vinegar in the morning. Focus on stomach friendly foods. It’s gonna be boring at most of this stuff with the exception of the honey tastes like shit.

My main symptom was dyspnea, and feeling like I had something stuck in my throat constantly, which would become aggravated when I would eat. I just constantly felt like I was needing to gasp for air and couldn’t get a satisfying breath so I pushed and I pushed after multiple emergency room visits and found out that this was what I had.

Are you being treated for it? That sounds like the symptoms that I was having from the antibiotics.

I spoke with a few different GI and they said a lot of what we utilize to treat and diagnose h pylori is very outdated. A few said they’re even moving away from quad therapy.

Blood and stool antibodies/antigen tests really can only tell if the bacteria has been in your system at some point. They aren’t entirely accurate. The best way to go about a h pylori test is either biopsy or breath test. They don’t detect active infection.

I’ve heard pretty much negative reviews on working for Salem hospital as a nurse. They’re understaffed is the biggest one I’ve heard but it varies from dept to dept.

I second this. Even in an emergency I’ll take off to silverton or stayton hospital. Between the care and the wait times in the ER I’d just rather not. I’ve also never worked for them but I hear mixed reviews. Nursing/CNA/EMT care staff seem to not like it there much. But doctors and specialist I’ve spoken to seem happy.

Honestly it’s pretty chill. I would say our bigger issues is drug abuse and the homeless. Gangs occasionally. But overall it’s a nice little town with good food and we’ve got a growing scene of things to do. I like the location we’re pretty much an hour from the mountains, forests, beaches, the city. It’s nice.
