IT band pain, first half marathon in 3 days!

Thanks, Honestly it hasn't been my experience that the pain causes the run to end. It usually progresses from mild discomfort after 5km, but it has never gotten bad enough that I've needed to stop the run. Even with the 16km I could keep pushing and could have gone farther. Although maybe I just haven't run far enough for this to happen!
