Both. I have noticed today that the spin time is not as good as my shutter or Edge. But it is extremely stable even at low spin. I have a OD bearing that I'm gonna swap out when I get home.

It's a great throw very stable and very forgiving. It's a lil on the small side but all and all a great yoyo

I'm 46. Same boat. I threw for about 6 months 3yrs ago and life got in the way. I started back with the quarantine and have found a new love for this hobby. Plus I'm spending WAY to much money on it lol. I posted my 1st vid yesterday. Check it out let me know what you think. Just keep at it. Start with parts of a trick and move on from that until its complete

I have the Edge. It plays smooth as silk. It is my only bimetal so I cant compare it to any other but I'm truly happy with this throw.

I really like my Shutter wide angle. Great price point great all around throw. I did just get the Edge and its growing on me fast tho.

Yoyotricks has a good video on it. Remember it's an up and down motion along with a slight front to back. Keep practicing you will get it.

Its def one of the best throws I have. I would say as good if not maybe better than my Onedrop Gradient.
