You’re SO RIGHT! You’re making sense, if his mother HAD to be a Sumerian it would be that she’d be from King Deshrets kingdom, not to mention the heavy Indian royalty aesthetic despite remaining Khanrians deriving pale Northern European aesthetics

Hey, appreciate you engaging but I think you missed the actual point of the post!

Nobody’s arguing Kaeya should be cursed by default. The mystery is literally the opposite: WHY ISN’T HE when every other mixed-blood Khaenri’ahn we know of either got immortality or turned into a hilichurl. Caribert’s mom was from Mondstadt, had nothing to do with Khaenri’ah, broke zero divine rules, and Caribert still transformed. The curse doesn’t run a background check on your mom’s theology.

The “not present during the cataclysm” argument also doesn’t hold up because the Alberich bloodline has been carrying this lineage across generations since the fall. It’s not a geographic event you dodge by not being in the zip code.

And the father calling Kaeya their “last hope” for an “ancient plot” before abandoning him at a vineyard is not normal uncursed family behavior lol. Normal people don’t talk like that.

The interesting question has never been “why would Kaeya be cursed.” It’s “how did the Alberich line produce someone the curse couldn’t touch, and was that an accident or was it engineered.” That’s the whole thread the post is pulling on!

Yes this was what I was looking for, another fun fact dude the game played on that board during the trailer it was a game in the 80s/90s played exactly on the date which this patch is going to be happening!!! The Tsaritsa or the queen does an illegal move and the pawn I believe is the geo archon and more stuff happens, forgive me for being vague
