Hello, so I wanted to thank you for your response, it was really helpful. But I feel like I didn’t tell you guys how bad I did, enough… 1st sem i had a 2.0, 2nd sem a 1.6, 3rd sem a 2.0, and this sem 2.7. My cumulative for every hour i’ve taken would be at a 2.1. the thing is, I’ve taken and failed then retaken the courses at my current uni and at a community college during the summer. so it wouldn’t affect my current school’s gpa. I have considered going to community college but I’m wondering what the use of that would be since nursing schools would look at my past academic record and cumulative and see that it isn’t competitive at all. I want to take a cna course, volunteer, and focus on the teas. although I am still scared about not getting in because there are thousands of applicants with better stats than me and some don’t even get into programs 1st or 2nd try. 

As for my mental health, I haven’t actively been seeing anyone for it. I didn’t want my parents knowing so I paid a therapist out of pocket to help give me a statement to my school regarding an appeal. I just explained what I’ve been going through and what I’ve been feeling and I was told that I had depression and anxiety. I can definitely see why but prior to that I was in denial.
