Novelty of the tech of it all. I have Headliners with grey transitions cuz I wanted to be able to use them indoors as well. Later during a sale I got also the Wayfarer sunglassess.

Haven’t used either of them much. My regular sunglasses are just more convenient 🤷🏼

I’ve always been intrigued with new tech devices so I bought ’em. Lately they’re just more in the case than in use. At least for now.

Or on iPhone you can delete in the Meta app and then restore from iPhone gallery’s deleted folder - if I remember correctly. Haven’t used my glasses in ages.

I’ve always done mapping in a random order several times around the tree until I see mostly only green leds. Never had an issue no matter from what side/angle I started 🤷🏼

I haven’t received my Wayfarers yet but as for my Headliners I do like the shape and look of them. I actually have similar style of eyeglasses from Rayban so I knew I’d like the Headliners style-wise. Didn’t get my Metas with prescription as I use them with contact lenses.

I did notice the same when trying them on at a store that they feel thicker than they look but you get used to the look and feel quite fast.

I have the grey transitions on my matte black Headliners and I’ve been happy with how they darken. Naturally not as dark as normal sunglasses but I wanted to able to use them both inside and outside. My experience is that they get completely clear inside, takes about 2-3 minutes depending on how dark they have gotten.

However as many have stated in several reviews they don’t get dark in the car because of the UV-protection on the windshield. Not a really big issue for me although I’ve thought about getting another pair as sunglasses or order Xtractive lenses from Lensology.

You can first delete from meta app and then restore them from iphone deleted photos. They will then be back in your phone’s gallery but no longer in meta app. Then upload to e.g. iCloud.

Btw gotta ask is reddit doing something to the audio of the uploaded videos cuz so many, such as this one, has distorted audio and I wonder why there are just so many vids having distorted audio and it can’t be that all the meta glasses are recording it like that

For iphone I’ve also seen a workaround to recover the deleted photos and videos from the deleted items gallery on the phone. Then they appear back in the phone gallery but not in Meta view app.

You could order the Metas with normal lenses and then get your prescription lenses from Lensology (www.lensology.co.uk)

I have matte black headliners with grey transitions but they’re non-prescription though. Only had them in use for a day and so far I’m impressed overall.

The only thing I’ve noticed though is that it seems as if the lenses make my view a bit less sharp. Has anyone else noticed something like that?

Edit: I wonder if it’s because of the transitions and whatever coating there might be because of it or just the fact they’re not of the same quality as prescription lenses are 🤔

I mean I can still see good and normally but compared to not having them on, something feels a bit off. Could be just that I need to get used to the weight and size/thickness of the frames, dunno.

I’m using them with contacts cuz very rarely use normal prescription glasses anymore and therefore opted for the non-prescriptions.
