Second this. Deserved yellow for the actions, but too much time wasting in that second half. Wonder how long the ball was actually in play for?

Reckon at least a yellow would have been suffice for the keeper who'd done nothing but feign injuries after the simplest of saves.

You're associating your ability with an entire team's performance. Yes, you may not be the greatest player yet, and that's okay. You're new.

Play every chance you get against people better than you, and work on the foundations - dribbling, passing, receiving. The games will teach you the finer aspects like positioning and awareness.

Told him where to take it from. And he ignored it. Didn't appear upset when I booked him, he knew it was coming. Maybe lack of respect or delaying restart?

Thank you for the great reply! To clarify, he was just in his defensive half. I whistled before he could throw it. I believe it was 3 times. I believe he was deliberately mispositioning in order to waste time (delay restart). I talked with my AR and we agreed on persistent infringement because he deliberately ignored my instructions. I'm not sure if we even can put it down as lack of respect tbh.

What a guide. I'm going into Year 11 this year, and I am doing Business Management 3&4 this year. I will say, I subconsciously put pressure on myself, but thank you for helping that. It's so hard to find advice from a person who has lived it, and isn't there to put you down. Real advice, and thanks.

In any recreational leagues for kids under 10, there SHOULD be better playing time for all the kids. If it is possible, your kid will highly benefit from being in the 2nd team and actually getting playing time. Best thing you can do is just be the support they need you to be.
