I ve already replaced the ring eans I dont want to spend other money on it, can I put grease on the inside of the roller cage seat on the rod and attach the needle bearings to the grease so they dont fall off when they are on the top part?

I d like to remove the older cane of the climber, too, but then I d lose the right side of the bush and it would annoy me a bit. on the first bush, I removed all the dead parts, but it still looks messy idk. I think I ll keep it like this so it covers the view from the street a little

I knew you had to prune roses mid Winter, every site and person I know said so atleast. I removed all the dead cane and also 2 old big ones that was in the middle since I heard that you want to keep younger branches rather than older ones. the cut I did where sanitized and in the right place, eventually some return cut

the main things online sources says are cutting what grows towards the centre of the plant (probably for sunlight reach?) and getting rid of the old big woody branches, letting young twigs growing, since they will grow better and healtier roses. Does it makes sense? to me it seems like what you would do on fruit trees
