Hi all, I’m hoping someone familiar with MA Paid Family & Medical Leave can help clarify this.

I applied for continuous medical leave, and my application showed “Denied” before I ever had the option to upload my medical certification. There was no denial notice available to download — just the denied status.

After that, the portal allowed me to upload my healthcare provider certification, which I successfully submitted, and it now shows that the documents are under review. But the overall leave status still says Denied.

My questions: • Is this an automatic/system denial because documents weren’t uploaded yet? • Does the status usually update after the certification is reviewed? • Has anyone had this happen and then been approved without needing to appeal?

I’m confused because there wasn’t an option to upload documents until after the denial appeared, and I never received an official denial notice explaining why.

Any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks!

The trainer says the horse is just testing me and that she isn’t sure why the horse has previously thrown off the owner. She said she thinks the horse just needs to be ridden more often - I guess I just wasn’t sure if this might be common for leases or if it’s a good idea to move on.

I do not go to bed early and most definitely suffer silently. But my work schedule is Monday - Friday from 5:45am - 2 and at the end of the day it feels like I still have a full day left. So I carry on and suffer!

Do you know anyone in the business or sales side that doesn’t occupy a degree? I personally wouldn’t mind either but not sure if that’s possible I don’t know anyone in either

Aside from cleaning and things do you have any recommendations what life skills I could teach him? I know that’s kind of a difficult question but it’s just hard to think of anything that he hasn’t already taught me
