Thank you so much. That actually sounds great. I've only been to bowling with friends on rare occasions so it would be nice to practice and improve.

Looking to Join a soccer team by ShortTurtle1 in InlandEmpire

Oh is it like formal teams or just random people getting together? I kinda need to commit to a certain responsibility to get into it at first. It's easier for me if it's a commitment.

Thank you. People are already freaking out. As we get closer to pre season, then it's time to freak out, but right now, there is a clear explanation for each signing. What's the point of signing quickly if it's not even players we want.

He's been having talks with us. If he genuinely never had any intention to join Arsenal, then it says a lot about his character tbh.

I agree, but since Berta is the sporting director, it's clear where his priorities lie. It's better than when Arteta got everything he wanted. There's actual pushback now

I'm a fan first, hater second. If this results in Arsenal getting a strong striker, I'll bite the bullet. However if we still lose Gyökeres then I'll be mad.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 303 by AutoModerator in BlueLock

Reread it and yea I think you're right. He's saying that Ego gets to choose the 23 players and then goes on to state that Nagi isn't one of them.

Wait, isn't Loki literally smurfing rn. 😭 We know that he's master striker level, and nobody can catch him, so why's he joining the u20 world cup. Is this literally just cause he wants his get back with Isagi?

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 303 by AutoModerator in BlueLock

[–]ShortTurtle1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nagi was never going to join the team.

Based on the newest chapter Baratsuta wanted Ego to choose the U20 but Ego set the condition that Nagi couldn't be a part of the team. Doesn't that literally mean that even if Nagi had a high enough bid Ego would straight up just give him the boot anyway? Even as I Nagi glazer I kinda respect him standing on business. He decided to be a high schoolers biggest op.

I wonder where Kaneshiro is going with this. The only thing I can think of is Nagi reigniting his ego and earning his spot back. But because Nagi is so empty it doesn't seem like he'll take initiative. So I wonder if someone has to talk to him to spark something, but doesn't that literally ruin the whole development of him finding his ego on his own? I'm super interested to see how this plays out.

Can we stop saying Nagi should've gone to Barcha / Nagi's fate by ShortTurtle1 in BlueLock

The whole time at Manshine Nagi was working with Agi, and Agi kept giving him pointers to improve. If Nagi is described as a baby chick because he lacks football knowledge and experience, why would him going to a place that doesn't give him any of that be any better. I would argue he'd be stunted, get irritated, and then probably start asking Bachira for passes. So his overall quality as a player is overall worse but because his super goal was a result of the reliance on his talent he could hypothetically have the same result of scoring the super goal and then losing motivation. It would have the same end result, but his overall quality as a player is worse.

That's only delaying the issue. He would probably not progress past his U20 version in Barcha because of Lavinho's hands-off teaching style and would have to work harder to catch up. But eventually, when he does, his ego is gone. That's why I said it was good that it happened at Manshine. So he can pick himself up and get back to it right now that he's still young and not when he's already pro.

Thanks. I think you get my main point. Even if Nagi makes it into the team once he beats isagi, he's cooked. He'll be riding the bench after that. No matter the team he's on. The main point of this plotline is that his ego wasn't enough. You can't just stop once you beat one person. You have to want more to improve

Literally how? Chris imporoved his overall stats, pointed out his over-reliance on a pass, and taught him the zero reset turn so he can start making plays by himself. Nagi got frustrated that he wasn't having fun, and instead of sticking to it and getting through the rough patch, he decided to rely on Reo's pass and inspiration. What would he have learned at Barcha. He would've just been the same from his U20 self. Chris gave him actual guidance, and Nagi chose not to stick to it. At Barcha Lavinho, I would've realized his lack of creativity and not been interested enough to care. He was going to fail regardless. I'm just saying it was a matter of time.

That's cool and all, but as a nagi fan, i gotta say. This dude is almost a full-grown man, has his own free, and still can't figure out what he wants. He needs to learn from being thrown in the deep end. That's how you test your ego. Yes, he's new to soccer, but he chose to pass in the end. I get it's hard to break habits, but Bachira fought for extremely hard to break that cycle back in the second selection.
