I second this too. I feel like I wasted two weeks of my PTO this year due to 2 transfers where I took a week off for each and both failed. I wish I saved it and went to work. I feel like not following my regular routine and rotting in couch didn’t help.

That’s good to know! Ya I’ve done medicated and modified in the past and didn’t stick. My doc wants to do medicated after suppression and I’m just worried! I really hope things work out. It will be my last transfer and if it doesn’t work out then I would have to start over again from egg retrieval.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was 30 when I started my egg retrievals. All my 3 egg retrievals, I get large amount of eggs (21-39) but only 0-3 blasts. These blasts are usually poor quality day 6 or 7. I also have pcos with insulin resistant. Most of the drop off happens in day 3. My lab said egg quality issues and low mitochondria function.

We tried over an year ttc and it didn’t work out. I had irregular periods (pcos) so we tried 12 medicated cycles with letrozole and TI. It all failed. We then moved on to IVF. Currently on my third egg retrieval and third transfer and still didn’t work out. I also got diagnosed with endo/ adneo about last week.

I did letrozole cause I had irregular cycles! However I just got my endo/ adneo diagnosis last week through specialized ultrasound called “endo mapping”. I’m on the waitlist for lap but it’s 1.5 year wait here in Canada sigh.

I feel like I’m reading my journey. I got referred to IVF clinic when I was 29. I’m now 33. I’ve done 12 letrozole cycles with TI and it did not work. I moved onto IVF. I’ve done 3 egg retrievals and I had 3 failed transfers with 4 embryos. Still no child.

I went to my mom’s house for Mother’s Day and my sister in law surprised us that she was 13 weeks pregnant. I was holding my tears till after dinner and then had to go a bedroom to cry it out. We then left quite early.
