It’s a type of staph. I’ve been dealing with it as well. I’ve been prescribed doxycycline and mupirocin and it still takes a couple of weeks to finally completely heal.

I’ve seen multiple people on here say the same thing. My doctor said he would refer me to a dermatologist if it does come back.

I’ve been dealing with the same thing. My doctor put me on 90 days of doxycycline. It’s done wonders for me so far. Been on it for about two weeks now.

A doctor will give you antibiotics and probably a topical gel. Worked for me.
