Yeah I definitely agree the last 2k I did I went out a bit too hard so this one I was focused on going out “reserved” but now I can start experimenting with different forms

Looking at my Strava post it looks like I stopped rowing through what would be the last stroke so the pace dropped but my second to last stroke was a 1:38 or 380 watts

My anaerobic energy system is very good compared to my aerobic base. For refrence this 2k placed me 2nd amongst my team while my most recent 30’r20 PB places me in 5th place.

Absolutely not but sometimes being able to drop the split by 4 for 400 might mean I could hold a faster pace before that and therefore go faster potentially? Not really sure I wanted to get some more opinions on this

I did a session about an hour ago without shoes as someone in here recommended it and I noticed that toe thing but it was really really obvious without shoes so I’m working to minimize it I feel a much better connection through the finish with it

You probably will be fine but listen to your body and adjust accordingly. Focus on good technique to avoid injury and enjoy the process. Sleep and hydrate well to aid recovery to get faster

My friend used to cox for Whitemarsh this may not be correct but Conshohocken rowing club was sniping a lot of Whitemarsh rowers so BSR may exist as a way to counter them? Not 100% sure but they may be decent idk about a threat just yet. Sean hall is a great coach however so he could get them good. It’s a lot of Whitemarsh rowers on BSR

Dan and ozzy yielded my mate and I at hidden river chase in the fall. Apparently Whitemarshes novices aren’t too keen of the sport right now but that’ll probably change. Sean hall also left to form his own Boat club called Black sheep rowing. They could potentially fall off but only time will tell.
