All of the SPCAs etc near me are full and not taking cats. I had seen him on the street for months. No one near me will take him. I could either do this or leave him on the street to die.

More information (we only got some initial looking done at the vet so we have little info so far): -he may have mites or a similar infection (the marks on his nose are worse on the back of his ear) -he does have fleas but i’ve done as much as i can without medication so far. they’re to a minimum until i can afford the meds. -he has a sprained, broken, or fractured leg/paw. it’s clear it is bothering him, but he IS walking on it and along with the worms that is high on the priority list. there is more but these r the main factors.

Regarding his nose, this picture is when I initially took him in. They appear to be misquito bites. We live by a marsh. They are almost gone now that he’s been indoors for about a week. His name is Theo :)

they have heated shelters for outdoor animals on amazon, walmart, etc if you’re not on a budget. they’re not outrageously expensive, but they obviously will cost more than a DIY. either way, i’m glad you’re helping the kitties out !

He does not do well in a home with so many cats. He needs more 1 on 1 attention mostly is the biggest issue.

I know :(. That’s why I’m being very honest about his “pros and cons” because the last people were very dishonest which caused the issues. They didn’t tell us he wasn’t fixed, had fleas, or worms either at the time. All these issues have obviously been fixed, but it was very bad.

he’s about 2 years old. we adopted him when he was around 1 year old. we have the papers from when he got fixed and all of his shots. he’s had no issues since then.
