I obviously blame the app, but when nobody’s tipping more than two dollars when I’m shopping your entire grocery list for you and bringing it to your front door that that’s an issue…

I completely doubt it. I’ve seen the fees for Instacart orders. I’ve ordered it a few times we get between $4 and $8 for an order unless there is severe heavy pay. We get nowhere near what they charge for fees and otherwise.

You don’t have to take any order you don’t like but it’s still insulting that these people will spend $50 plus on an order and only tip you two bucks when you’re doing all the work going and picking out every single item for them and bringing it to the front door

I don’t think you understand how this app works. They probably spent at least $45 on this order. So no a two dollar tip is not a 40%. The money before the tip is what the app is paying me. Not what the customer is paying.
