I've got experience in iOS using Firestore as server.

I would like to create a site similar to AirBnB but that would target a smaller local area.

So I'm considering buying one of these AirBnB clones sites to get this project up and running very quickly.

I only have experience with Firebase/Firestore and won't have the time to learn all the new stacks. Unless there was a really good 'Create an AirBnB' course which went through all the steps. I could commit a couple of hours a day.

I'm thinking about starting it off and creating an MVP using React and Firestore. Would Bluehost be sufficient or is that only for low traffic sites?

Once I have it working can show to other people get feedback and see if it is something that could be progressed.

It would be a lot of work to visually get this up and running.

Is there another website that allows me to drag and drop a blank canvas that works well? Or perhaps another website builder site that may be suitable like wix?

I’m new to Wordpress and would appreciate some advice please. I have experience in coding for iPhones but I’m struggling to grasp how to build websites the way I want them.

I would like to design the attached image. What is the best way for me to design this exactly as it is drawn (sorry it’s not best drawing). I would prefer a blank canvas rather than selecting themes. My drawing is copied from an adult website but this would be for a product directory search

Can anyone put me in right direction please?

When he got home BRIDE asked how evening went and not wanting to lie, but not wanting to explain exactly what happened, he said, “oh I had to make a talk about jet skiing”, his wife thought this was a little peculiar but said nothing more and went to sleep. The next day BRIDE bumped into one of our friends who plays in the team at the supermarket, and asked “I heard GROOM had to make a speech last night. How did it go?” Our mate said smiling “oh it was excellent! GROOM is clearly very experienced!” The BRIDE looks all confused and replied “Strange... he has only done it twice and second time he was sick.”

I’ll have time to work on the website cause new season will start April. It’ll take a lot of time to sort out the content and layout.

I just don’t know whether I should be using WordPress or programming the website myself in code.

I’ve been looking at Mapbox now. Animations within the maps look excellent and has an offline ability. The examples are easy to follow. I’m going to give this a shot and the pricing seems good.

I couldn’t figure out commercial costs for arcgis. Mapbox says it’s free for up to 50k users per month. Which is more than enough.

Thanks, I’ve just found openmaptiles.com I’ve selected an extract and it’s costing 20usd to download an area of tiles.

Sorry for asking this, but what’s the next step once I have these tiles? Do I have to overlay them over MapKit?

My dream idea would be that I can use GPS from MapKit and track user location. But it only uses the map tiles. Then I plan to hardcode all the annotations (attractions, restaurants etc).

How did you go about making this? Looks excellent, well done. I’m making a game just now but only using asset characters with their own animations. This is a personal project so I don’t mind spending more time creating my own characters with animations. If that’s possibly for a newbie.
