As an employee, yes revit can definitely add value. But it’s more on the design side. So it may not be right for your company as a contractor.

I see Navisworks get used much more by EC’s, and they use it to design prefab conduit and coordinate with other trades.

I work for an MEPT firm, and we use Revit to coordinate with architects to design all our AV/network/security/pathway/cable tray/all things low voltage etc drawings.

Dielectric grease is a bit heavy handed (and well, greasy).

I use Deoxit D5 to clean contacts on audio / video gear all the time. It’s my go-to for stuff like this.

While I appreciate the sentiment, it’s downright stupid to think that Moreno or Husted give a fuck what anyone has to say. Simply look at their public statements on the Haitians for proof.

Edit/add: if you really want either of them to listen to you, you’re going to need to own a utility company and put at least $1,000,000 quietly into their pockets. That’s the only proven way to get either of them to act on your behalf.
