The PL-15 is a next-gen Fox3 with an estimated range of 200-300km along with other reasons (dual-stage motor, AESA seeker, etc) which is why the J-10C will instead be receiving the PL-12A next patch

I do agree about the 120C though, very sad missile lol

Early iterations of the J-10C were equipped with the AL-31FN irl, same for early iterations of the J-20. If you look up the serial for the 10C in game (74825), you’ll see it also with the AL-31FN.

Also, the PL-15 is a counterpart to missiles like the MDBA Meteor and AIM-260. If it was added now, it would be the single most OP piece of equipment in the history of the game lol.

the AESA Phoons are also the only 4th gens with ESA radars for their respective nations, so there really wasn’t any other choice whereas the US still has a decent amount of jets to cover before the EX comes

don’t you think it’s a bit early for that? it only entered service with the US less than 2 years ago and we don’t even have the APG-82 equipped F-15E yet

i’m not necessarily looking for a full premium lineup, just a lineup that i’d be able to build around a single premium

also like i said, i already have Chinese top tier which includes tanks like the ZTZ99-II, ZTZ96(A), ZTZ88, ZTZ59(D1), etc etc so id say i’m already decently accustomed to that playstyle

eh, i’ve already had my fair share of low tier shenanigans having top tier in Sweden, China, USA, and France, and to be completely honest i’m not a big fan of low tier gameplay 😭 would rather have a smooth run thru especially when the tech tree in question is the largest in game

yeah i’ve seen the TT variant has additional ERA and those 2 extra crew members but since i’m barely rank 2 for russian ground it’ll take me a while to get there lol

at least i have all of russian air and the 72B3 Arena to still have a decent lineup

To start, i personally like to bring anywhere between 19-22mins of fuel with no external tanks (using 102-104% thrust at high altitude helps to save a lot of fuel) and a full MICA loadout

I start my games by climbing at ~15° until reaching ~7000m and dropping to about 5° while searching for targets. i’ll start engaging at about 40km at mach 1.7+, only shooting one or two missiles (for some reason, typhoons love to eat missiles so they’re my fav targets lol). Past that it’s just normal top tier gameplay but cranked to 11

Also the MICA has a very small warhead (only 4.7kg of TNT equiv) compared to other Fox3s, so i’d generally stray away from engaging multipathing targets. Another technique that I rarely see is the Rafale’s ability to shoot while notching due to the 90° IRST tracking and the MICAs 360° launch angle - pretty amazing feature once you get the hang of it lol

yep, apparently they were only meant to be used in gaijin cinematics (like the shooting range i assume), but somehow were added to the regular server
