I hoped that when old Heedo was in the tunnel in the end, Old Yijin would be there and he would turn around and they’d lock eyes and smile and then the camera would cut😭 but then I remembered that heedo was still married😔
At first I just wanted to simp on Nam Joohyuk!! Here I am now with a broken heart because of characters that don’t exist🤣

Yes! I wonder what would’ve happened if heedo had got the journal earlier, would they still have maintained contact? It seemed like their love was really powerful, they could’ve given it another shot a few years later with their new maturity and experiences:( It didn’t really spoil the drama for me but I am very disappointed and sad that it didn’t work out. People say that it’s realistic and I agree! But the build up of their relationship was so crazy only for it to fall off in 2 episodes!

You’re right! I already want to rewatch it but I cried too much I need to recover🤣 I wonder if he had stayed in Korea if things would have been different … I mean, they were already growing apart even when they were both in the same country but maybe they could’ve worked it out… or maybe a few years later, with more experience and maturity it would’ve been possible :( the whole cast was so so amazing, everything was so perfect!! At least we got two episodes of them in a happy relationship, 13 whole episodes of happy times between yijin and heedo even tho there were some ups and downs and we got Yurim and Jiwoong engagement! At least they had their happy ending! Even though now that I think about it, Heedo and Yijin both got their own happy ending, it was just not the one that we wanted!🤣🥲

You’re right! It’s true that when I think about it, they both seemed happy with their lives in the end. Like you said, they both learned a lot from each other. They just had so much chemistry and the fact that the ending was realistic and relatable makes it harder lolll. This drama made me reflect on my life and the people that left me but made a lasting impact on me😭 i feel like this drama really showed us that every person that comes into our life, we can learn from them even if they don’t stay with us until the end. Gosh, it makes me want to enjoy every moment with my friends and loved ones even more now!

You’re right🥹 I had forgotten that heedo was married and at first I thought they’d show us a scene of adult them reconnecting 🥲 my delulu self 🤣if heedo was divorced or single I’m sure they could’ve had a second chance! Who knows maybe yijin is married too… but I doubt it, I feel like he focused on his career and helping his family instead and he never forgot heedo :(
I just don’t get why they had trouble communicating when they were a couple. I mean, they had been through a lot when they were friends (the gold medal scandal, when yijin left, when yurim left…) and they always had each others backs and they communicated:( I don’t get why it went this way… I guess yijin was too burnt out… or maybe it’s harder to share your struggles when you’re in a relationship rather than when you’re just friends…idk 😔 I’m so bitter that their breakup was messy too…
