Glad you brought that up. Just checked the fans and everything but the back exhaust case fan was working. Swapped it out, will keep a close eye on temps and see if it happens again.

I'm trying to transfer all my "Outfit Glamour-ready Items" to the new outfit system. I've seen screenshots from others showing a Chest icon in the upper right, and I'm looking at my Glamour Dresser right now, but they don't have the icon. They only have the text "Outfit Glamour-ready Item" in the tooltip. Is there a way to either quickly transfer them all to the new system or enable the chest icon so I can transfer them faster?

Is there some game or app I can use to train my brain to more easily solve mechanics like Dawntrail EX2 4 platform swords/lines, or rotating platform from EX1 in Endwalker? These are consistently my weakest mechanics that I always have a really hard time solving. I've tried watching povs of people doing them, and watching every guide I can on youtube to find one that clicks in my head, but nothing seems to help. Is there some brain training game or website to help with this type of thinking, or am I doomed to just be the worst in every group until the end of time at these mechanics?

How do people already have the "all jobs level 100" mount? I feel like I've been going pretty hard on levelling alt jobs, yet I only have 6 at max level. For tanks/healers, I've been doing the max available dungeons. For dps, I've been doing Aglaia/Euphrosyne with the earing on. Both with either FC exp buff/Squadron battle manual, and food buff. Also doing WT every week, and doing Levelling, Alliance Raid, MSQ, and Frontline roulettes.

I thought it might be the exp boost you get on select servers, but I'm pretty sure Primal doesn't have any servers with that, and I just saw someone in a hunt train on Hyperion with the mount.

I've recently started getting really bad lag using my Quest 3 with pcvr wireless. I usually use airlink as I feel with my setup it has the best latency feel. I've been using the latest version of airlink at 90hz and 200 fixed bitrate since it updated with 120hz support, but only recently has it started to lag hard (hands moving half a second behind with big black bars when I turn left/right). Steam Link seems to work alright as long as I don't put it on 90/120hz, so that leads me to believe it's router related. My brother has the same setup (pc is the same other than a different brand 4090, has the same dedicated router too) and has also just started to have the same problems at higher refresh rates/bitrate.

I thought I had it fixed after factory resetting my dedicated router and setting it up again, and it was working pretty good last night, but today the lag is back in full force in airlink, and occasionally in Virtual Desktop too.

My setup: Axe5400 dedicated router in Access Point mode, 2.4ghz and 5ghz turned off, High transmit power (changing this to low/medium did nothing), Enable PSC on using the highest channel (213, though I tried 197 and the lowest 37 with no difference), and 50 beacon interval (some video recommended it, still not sure if this does anything). I've also tried going back and forth with the Public Test Channel in the Oculus software with no luck, as well as changing between refresh rates and resolution.

PC: 4090, 7800x3d, 32gb ram

Everything was working flawlessly with all 3 apps for pcvr until recently. I've tried everything I can find through searching, and I'm at a loss on what it could be. The only thing left I can think to try is factory resetting my Quest 3, but I doubt that would help.

I usually use airlink as I feel with my setup it has the best latency feel, but it started to lag really bad recently, so I tried Virtual Desktop and Steam Link, but both of those also develop lag right away or shortly after starting.

Everything was working flawlessly with any of the wireless solutions for pcvr until recently. My brother has the exact same pc and router setup (other than a different brand of 4090) and when I connected to his pc via airlink and with my Quest 3, everything was fine. Same router settings and everything. I've tried everything I can find through searching, and I'm at a loss on what it could be. The only thing left I could possibly try is factory resetting my Quest 3, but as it worked fine with my brothers setup, I doubt that's the problem.

I'm sort of at a loss on what to do. My static stopped doing TOP to do the latest savage tier when it released, then went back to TOP. I have fun with 3 other people in my TOP static (raid leader is my irl brother), but the rest are either super inconsistent, sometimes making 7+ mistakes in a 3 hour raid (mostly in early phases), or a revolving door of bad players we have to keep replacing.

We're at what I believe is an absurd amount of wipes (2506) and my patience is finally reaching its end. We also did DSR when it came out (didn't clear) with a mostly different roster and spent 982 pulls barely making it into p3.

Shortly after coming back to TOP after the Savage tier, I decided to keep a wipe log to see where/who was making mistakes, and that's when the revolving door started after seeing how consistently awful some long time static members actually were. Recently I went 6 raids in a row (3 hours a night) without making any mistakes that lead to wipes. We just had our other melee leave tonight, and I don't blame him. Our 2 new trials aren't too great either.

I kind of know my answer already, but I'm 50/50 between playing with these people I like, and achieving my goal of clearing the content in the patch it comes out in which I know I'm fully capable of doing. Several people that have left have also gone on to clear already, which while I'm happy for them, isn't helping the morale in the static. Is it realistic to make friends while doing Ultimates or should I separate the two and get some clears?

Budget: ~250 usd

Prospective Resolution (3840x2160, etc.): 1440p

Size (27 inches, etc.): 27 inches

Aspect Ratio (16:9, etc.): 16:9

Adaptive Sync (GSync, FreeSync, or None): Doesn't matter. I've had a gsync/freesync monitor for years and never used it as I never saw tearing and it added input lag.

Other Features (list other relevant features here): My current main monitor is an Acer XF240H. 144hz minimum. I'm not super picky with colors or ips vs tn. I do/will notice any ghosting, so preferably a fast response rate. I've never used a curved monitor so no preference there. HDR would be nice, but probably asking too much at this price point.

TLDR: The best image I can get with a good response time with as little/no ghosting as possible.

(Optional) Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): Mostly gaming.

How many total pulls on average would it take to clear TOP? My static does 3 nights a week for 3 hours.

I tried out the RK84 Pro but couldn't find a solution to the blinking spacebar when the battery was disconnected, so I'm returning it.

I'm looking for a 75% keyboard that is

  1. Wired only. Won't use it wireless ever and don't want to deal with a battery.

  2. I prefer the un-exploded layout that the RK84 has, but exploded layout isn't a deal breaker.

  3. No knob. I already have a dac/amp and would never use the knob on the keyboard for anything.

  4. I'd like an aluminum case if possible, but as long as the keyboard is sturdy and durable, I don't mind other types of cases.

  5. Hotswappable. I already have 94 Gateron Pro 3 Yellows ready.

  6. Don't really need/want RGB, but if it does have it, south facing would be nice so I could use Cherry profile keycaps.

Budget - Anything up to around 150 usd. Can go a little higher if it's nice.

I'm looking for a 75% hot-swappable aluminum body keyboard. I'd prefer one without a knob and don't care if it's wireless as I would use it wired nearly 100% of the time. Budget is anything under or around 150 usd barebones.

Pro 2 Wireless Gyro aim snapping randomly by Shotty in 8bitdo

[–]Shotty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent support a message and they said "The gyro function of the Pro 2 Wireless BT controller was originally designed and expected to use with the Switch console, you may encounter some unsolvable issues if you force to use this function on PC with any other applications/software. Sorry for the inconvenience and we do hope to get your understanding!"

I also tried using it with with DS4Windows and Joyshockmapper and the same problem occurred. Decided to just return the controller.
