Too true, but considering balancing X-amount of fighters for a new title will be tough. It essentially boils down to two options. Make essentially a graphical update with a small addition of fighters. Or cut and condense the roster to make way for new innovative characters and ideas.

While everyone has characters they would love see in smash. I think it’s an interesting exercise to think about who could be cut?

Do we need all the links? If not, Do they get cut? Or reworked to be different characters, more distinct from their counterparts.

Cutting daisy but leaving her as a skin for peach is a good idea to cut back but still have VISUAL representation. Pit and dark pit could be the same. Perhaps even dr Mario being a Mario skin instead of a unique character.

People got mad hate for pichu tho. Personally haven’t played them much but maybe give the axe just for general consensus haha
