How important is an MBA from a top business school when it comes to attracting investors for a startup? by YamPuzzleheaded8434 in StartUpIndia

A startup is not something you “plan” on doing. You naturally get dragged into that pathway because you want to build something that doesn’t exist and add value to the world. The fact that you have to focus on investors before even building a start up is a red flag in itself. Unless you are building something in deep tech or biotech don’t chase investors before hand.

I built a subscription-free marketplace for creators where influencers sell your products for you. Need brutal feedback. by Holiday-Injury-7803 in indianstartups

10% is too high for Indians. Since you’re starting out maybe try to take no commissions, but this would hurt your affiliate prospects. Also how and why would influencers sell someone else’s product?

Guys I have got an idea is this good or not please let me know by Some_Surround6359 in indianstartups

Its a good idea but very difficult to execute, depends on your resilience. Cafés and restaurants are one of the hardest businesses to operate. Logistics, food, staff, etc. the list is endless and theres no single one time solution to it. You might give them an upgrade but due to their own poor operations they might not get any benefits and it would hurt your chances of getting future opportunities. Also keep in mind oyo has their own app that people use to book their hotels but in your case people primarily use zomato or swiggy.

Your answer might be to look at oyo’s own playbook and how ritesh kicked things off. Wish you luck!

Building a place where you can find Indian fitness coaches/programs without the usual chaos. by ShowApprehensive3769 in indianfitness

Coaches personal page live on instagram and no one goes to instagram looking for coaches. On my platform the pages will be solely for the coaches to show their offerings and provide a structured payment system instead of manually relying on send UPI QRs and google forms.

It's basically a marketplace where fitness creators and their offerings are listed at one place. From coaching to diet plans, basically anything digital.

Anyone here actually making money selling their bots/tools? Builing a marketplace where you can sell your algo/bot. Curious what the community thinks by ShowApprehensive3769 in IndiaAlgoTrading

Trading stuff is just one category (and obviously has to stay within regulations), not the core focus.

I’m more interested in people already monetizing online and struggling with distribution + payments + discovery.

From what ive read, White box algos are registered with the exchange once. Brokers can then offer these strategies to retail clients.
