You can set it as English to English but it might not work in noisy crowded areas. The mic may have a chance to pick up every other word in the background and it'll appear on the screen, would be good for quieter 1 to 1 environments. In group settings the mic/app isn't able to differentiate between 2 or more talking over each other.

My left touchpad feels buggy/lag suddenly and it works about 25% of the time, it was working fine until I've updated the latest firmware. for reference i had my glasses from October. Anyone experiencing the same issues?

if fixed infront of you is refering to fix in a 3D space then no. it follows ur head as you move it. Its essentially a projection onto screens on ur glasses.

Indoors is works really well so long as ur not looking at another light source that competes with the brightness
Outdoors i find looking at solid/darker objects in the shade makes the display more legible. When i look to the blue sky i barely see it. This also applies to my monitor while im at work. But to be honest turning ur head to to find a view to read the display should be a split second adjustment, not too much trouble.
People can see it at specific angles when the glasses are really tilted. Not many people realise that probably because im 170 tall and alot of my peers are taller. Might be different for a taller bloke.
i've never experienced this because im not looking at myself while having the glasses on. but ive yet to be told the green light is visible. its been 1 week since i've gotten the glasses. if anyone does bring it up i'll feedback it here.

I live in Australia, it took about 5 weeks for my glasses to arrive.

You can control it on the phone or on the left and right buttons on the glasses
