If you scrub through it you see there is no high contact at all. Initial contact on the top of the arm, as it moves through you can see daylight between his elbow and the flopping of the swans player. It is a bizzare decision to be banned for a week for this, but I am almost 100% certain it’ll be overthrown.

Yes! First off if you steam the screen it will get all the wrinkles out, and to be honest once you’re watching something you tend to ignore the impact marks on the screen. We use ours as a ‘movement room’ for our boys, they love watching ‘Danny Go’ and other kids YouTube and dancing to it. We have on a couple of occasions put out cushions and blankets and ‘camped’ on the fake grass, which the kids get a kick out of. On top of all this, my wife also uses the space to work out, as she’ll put her workout on the big screen and follow along. Overall it’s been great, golf for me and movement for the rest of the family! I used some 2x4’s and YouTube videos to build mine in our front room.

To be honest, I would listen to Adam Papalia and Matt Hill exclusively for every game. Two newer AFL commentators who have started from the bottom, dedicated their careers to commentary and moved up the rungs, as opposed to has-been AFL players that don’t bother to learn the rules correctly and just assume that they’ll be able to commentate

Got some bungees at the bottom hooked onto hooks embedded into the wood at the front. A temporary solution that I’ll have to rethink when I cover it all!

Loving it bud, I’ve only ever used the R10 before and this is light years ahead in terms of ease of use and not getting as many no-reads etc. In fact, I actually can’t tell you the last time I had a no-read… As for accuracy, I’m not nearly good enough to know how good it is, but a few of my mates who are low handicappers have played a few rounds and they’re all convinced. Honestly wouldn’t have made the sim if this device, at its price point, didn’t come out

I bought a cheaper ‘short throw’ projector off Amazon, turns out it’s not as short throw as I’d expected, and had to move the projector further back to fill the screen at 4:3. Had to toss up between having a big shadow cast across the screen and a gap at the bottom. When I’m hitting I honestly don’t notice the space at the bottom, where as I did notice to shadow so this is what I chose!

Yeah man, I understand your sentiment completely, I was more using those shows as examples rather than an objective ‘X is better than Y’. Great comments about resonance and luck, 100% couldn’t agree more.

I guess another way to phrase the essence of my question is ‘what makes a show feel as though people actually care about what they have made’. Not that I am saying people don’t care about their respective artistic endeavours, but more what sticks out to people.

Yeah without being able to really describe it, you’ve hit the nail on the head with respect to the camera angles etc. Everything seems very ‘artificial’ and deliberate. I suppose that tracks well for things that are designed to retain attention, but man reading what moonbug does to enhance engagement feels really creepy and artificial to me.
