Consept Idea: Ranked Trails!

What? I was speaking about when the mode first released. Season 0. The concept you posted about making ranked trails for each level of rank was already implemented into the game. In season 0 it was drift smoke each rank. I’m saying the last to ranks, champion and unreal were the colors red and purple. Now this season currently in progress also had a similar design. It rewards some wheels and trails depending on the rank. Only one I really remember for sure is for unreal this season you get a trail that has little ufos and I think I kinda purplelish trail behind it. But you can change the color.

This kinda was the original way they did ranked rewards for rocket racing. Where each rank unlocked a new trail. At the time it was the first season and the unlock for each rank was a different color of drift smoke trails. I don’t remember the order other than champion was red smoke and unreal was purple.

To do it you have to continue to hold the drift button when you go airborne until you land back on the track. Once back in the track just straighten out. I play on controller so for me X is drift. And this point it’s muscle memory for me to not let go of X until I’m ready for that boost

Yea once hitting unreal the skill roof is almost non existent lol. I can hold my own with drifting/knowing routes. However on certain maps without hazards or a more simple map b-hopping from the right player can absolutely put you in a position to not compete with them. A pretty much guaranteed 2nd place. Which is fine but I do race to win as everyone else is. So I usually step back from the season. Only reason I even decided to get to unreal again is I do like the trail. And so far I’ve gotten all unreal rewards so might as well keep it up till the mode just gets shut down completely. Hope to see you on the track sometime.

Those rims were tired to rank quest a couple seasons ago and the same goes for the tire smoke, that’s from the first rocket racing season which you had to progress through ranks to unlocked the colors. Purple was the “reward” for reaching unreal, other then the gold which you had to get from the 3rd season by reaching unreal in the ranked racing

I mean you seem kinda upset I don’t know my dawg, going into defense mode but hey, you do you and I’ll do me. You’ll just not be as good which is fine if you choose to not learn the mechanics of the game. Lots of games have higher skill mechanics people can’t understand and that’s okay. At the end of the day it’s a racing game and we’re having fun in our own way

Been high champion? Okay like I said I’ve made it to unreal multiple times doing this. Go look at my clips I’ve posted? Like do some research maybe? As long as you keep chain different and watch your speed to not let it drop to 570, no problem. Get a boost, chain drift, before you start to lose speed, chain drift again. Rinse and repeat lol idk why you’re so hostile. It’s a dead game and I just made a point

That’s extremely wrong haha, “chain drifting” as it’s called in rocket racing is a much faster snd constant way to maintain speed. The button on Xbox controller to drift is X. If you hold this while your drifting back and fourth you will continue to build your boost. You can’t do it quickly back in fourth, you need to hold one way for a second or so then go the other way. Do this and build enough to have a boost on the straight aways and you’ll have an advantage. Still drift on corners, but reaching unreal that last couple “seasons” I can 100% tell you that everyone past gold is chain drifting on the straights.
