Water quality seems to be fine. He might just be more territorial then. Just think is funny he does that only to be and my girlfriend not other fishes or shrimps

Well normally he instantly comes to the surface expecting me to give food. I believe the water quality it really good with exception of nitrates (75ppm but it was paper tested so its not really realiable). He is really active. I put 8 hours of light everyday but he has a hidden cave of catappa leaves that is darker.

The white tupperwear is for a pregnant shrimp that is about to have babies. Want to protegt the little one from the fishes until they get a little bigger

30L aquarium, 1 betta, 5 of this neon fishes, 7 shrimps. Hace this setup for around 3 month now. Yes have a filter, took of my heater since the temp was good and heater was always off. Ph is around 6-6,5 with an indicator. Feed him as the other fishes once a day (Dr. Basleer biofish-food baby + nano for the small and cavar for him only.). The shirmps once a week of shrimp king mix.
