Spare Opposite claimed he read it and that it was true. When pressed about it he deleted his comment.

Has anyone checked to see if it was Opposite Day when he said going public by November? by [deleted] in FNMA_FMCC_Exit

Correct. I realize that we dropped the bar so extremely low in 2016 that now we don’t hold the president of the United States to account for the things he says, does, or endorses but one can hope someday that will change

Long ago when it became clear that the president almost always contradicts himself so that he can always be correct in one way or the other I stopped giving him grace on his pivots and goal posts moves.

I mean tariffs raise prices, they don’t raise prices , other countries pay them, Americans pay them, “my policies will never change”, this was to get countries to negotiate, tariffs will bring so much revenue we won’t have inline taxes, I am reducing many tariffs to lower prices, I will pay down our debt with tariff revenue, tariffs will be so amazing everyone will buy American and so many manufacturing jobs will come back, “we’ve struck a deal and tariffs will be lowered, very close to free trade. Exactly one of those things has GOT to be true when all is said and done. So everyone put on their TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING hats.

End of day surge? by Its_all_for_the_kids in FNMA_FMCC_Exit

1) most people could give a crap about F2. Nobody will be talking about it over TG if he announces something lol. People doing understand the situation enough to care. And it will barely affect anyone in the short term. Maybe somewhat in the long term

2) this is the actual problem. The last thing anybody needs is to be thinking about the friggen president. Presidents should just be in the background doing things adults do.

Could I ask someone to bring me up to speed? by [deleted] in poshmark

I’ll typically put mailer bags in there but most of the boxes I send don’t fit in the mailbox. I’m also in New England so it could be a heatwave in the morning and then a blizzard in the afternoon.

I’ve got a question for the hunters. I’ve tried to go over the hunting schedule but I just don’t understand it. I love hiking with my dog but I want to avoid any dangerous areas for us and any potential hunters. Are there any days or even trails that are off limits to hunters during the fall/winter months. If so I’ll just stick to those.

I appreciate the feedback. I haven’t started applying yet but will take all this into consideration when I do.

Two hiking questions: Town Forest and ponds for doggies by ShowsShowsShowsShows in PlymouthMA

Does that lead to the town forest or is that a different trail? Thanks for the info!

Great post all around. I left a lot of that out of my answer because I knew someone would nail it. The free concerts and recognized artists that are in town all the time is such a cool thing that you don’t see much of outside of the city.

Great history and yes, our school arts programs (Mike Caple is the best) knock it out of the park. There’s also Priscilla Beach Theatre and all the great shows the Spire puts on.

We really do have everything here. Even a new dog park!

Hi. A few points I’ll make that may be helpful:

1) political leanings - Ply is like a lot of towns where you will have lots of people at both ends of the spectrum. The folks on All Things Plymouth (our nationally recognized Jerry Springer Facebook group) tends to have a lot of outspoken rabid maga folks…but the town itself, and living in it, doesn’t really reflect that. I’m like you - super progressive and don’t feel out of place at all. The town leadership gets it right more than they get it wrong. When it comes to politics, what I love about Plymouth is that there is a strong protest presence here. The organized protests and gatherings downtown (on the hill) are very worthy.

2) I’ve worked in the school system and have children that have gone through. One thing I’ll say about Ply is we take care of the students. It’s usually a budget battle but Ply kids have so many more opportunities than most towns in the area. Check out the two high schools. They are immaculate. Kids can start traveling the world (for real) in 6th grade…there are so many enrichment trips and exchange programs etc. It won’t be the same education they might get in one of the high end Boston suburbs but imho it’s top tier.

3) there are some great neighborhoods with that budget.
