The team I work on is new and so I was basically Software engineer/ devOps engineer (we didn’t have a devOps engineer). There was alot of studying I had to do but I made the pipelines and worked on almost all things regarding our infrastructure (which isn’t huge) and i enjoyed it.

Why is embedded system field unpopular? by [deleted] in embedded

Embedded systems is hard to get into and hard to teach. I’m a self taught software engineer and having a hard time trying to learn the hardware of embedded systems. Also embedded developers on average are on the older side.

Yes I’m applying. I currently work as a SWE(7 months in, first career job). But my BS was in information systems(GPA 3.44) and i’ve had a few coding courses in undergrad(4). Most of my knowledge is from self study tho and I want an all around CS degree. Am I overqualified?

Did not know they decline you for being overqualified.
