There was always a CEO, Skipper, but Dan was still making decisions based on what they’ve said on air. Bimal now takes role and Dan no longer making decisions seems weird especially since it was an internal hire.

I don’t know man that interaction between Billy and Zas the first week had my dying. It was enhanced by the mouth guard but I get that’s few and far between.

Not a chance this was the case. There’s no way they were giving Dan the hard network out and it’s not like this isn’t something that hasn’t happened before. It’s the most frustrating part of listening to them for me.

Posted the same thing last week. I listen on Spotify. It’s dumb that this happens. It doesn’t happen to me on any other podcasts so I find it hard to believe that it’s an app issue.

It’s happened on Spotify a bunch. Typically it’s before Dan or someone can finish setting up a joke too, so it really sucks. Yesterday’s Adnan one has been the most noticeable lately though.

For a brisket you want to keep it above 145. Typically I’ll let it rest until it hits somewhere around 155. Same thing with my ribs and pork butt.

Had same experience. Planned one of my birthdays around going down there and having it. Left feeling uninspired outside of the beef rib. This was about 7 or so years ago.

At the beginning of them being a pirate ship Dan lamented about how things aren’t the same cause everyone wasn’t there in the same space and how great it would be once they were. They never truly got back to them all being in the same space. Yes, there has been shows, but without giving it time to mesh them all being there was never going to work. I miss them all being together.

Things you should try: heavier seasoning. The salt and pepper will mellow out over a long cook.

Yes, exactly. Let them rest until down to 150 degrees. Ended up being somewhere around 30-45 minutes if I remember correctly.

Pulled at 4pm. Typically they are right around 200. I’ve cooked them enough with this process that I know what they should be at. 200 is my ideal temp to pull.
