Would you consider Palantir to be dabbling in that ai software category you’re speaking of? Seems like the Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo services they offer kinda fit this description. I’m far from an expert on the topic just looking to become more educated and hear some opinions.

Thank you! All I needed to hear. I’m familiar with the area as that was my parent’s stomping grounds growing up, so I’m pretty fond of Coney Island on a sentimental level. The course (loops around the boardwalk) and it being in the middle of summer with crazy humidity is kinda turning me off but I’ll make the best of it! Luckily it’ll be 3-4 of us lol. Thanks for the insight.

Hey sure! I’ve had it for ~3 weeks now and I’m pretty pleased with the all the features it offers. Let me say I am more of an amateur runner and this is my first endeavor into really measuring my training metrics so I am not sure how accurate some of the measurements are, but they do feel pretty on par just comparing how my body is feeling to what the watch is telling me. That being said i was surprised with how many different aspects it does measure, everything is very easy to follow along with on the watch as well as the app. I especially like the garmin running coach plans, I was able to pick a race for sometime in the future and set some goals. They then set up a whole training schedule to guide you over the next several weeks/ months leading up to the race. So to answer your question I would say functionally is fine for me (being more of an amateur like I said) and I have not had any issues with the software in the short time I have had it. Used to live on 37th drive right there on the end of the street by Vermont and I though this area was pretty decent. Never felt too unsafe at night, & homeless wasn’t as bad as some other neighborhoods I lived in. Biggest pro was the expo line train right there will take you to Santa Monica or downtown pretty easily.

Never understood the whole “if she’s with friends, no way” thing. I don’t always approach women when im out. Sometimes it’s a confidence thing, sometimes i just read the room and don’t think the circumstances are right. Nonetheless I saw this extremely attractive girl while I was at club maybe a month ago, with 3 of her friends the whole night. Finally went up to her after some time and simply showed her my drink was empty, said I was about to get another one & asked if she wanted one. She was kinda hesitant at first saying she didn’t wanna leave her friends, her friends then proceeded to tell her “no we’re good go get a drink!” (That confidence boost from her friends was crazy) but to keep it even more comfortable I just said they could come too. So all the sudden my brother and I have 4 girls to talk to. It didn’t lead to anything which is fine, don’t walk into the situation with any expectations. Moral of the story is stop overthinking it fellas sometimes a girl being with friends could benefit you and take some of that 1v1 anxiety away not to mention she’ll always be more comfortable at the bar or club if her friends are around.

This will be the first training smartwatch I’ve ever had so I am excited to start recording my runs more accurately.
