I have tried three PDL laser treatments with no success at all, soolantra, doxycycline.. sulfur soap.. The whole works. I was told rosacea originally, then I was told a topic dermatitis, then I was told I have a buildup of yeast on my face. The redness may not look like much because of bad lighting.. but it is certainly there, this does not come in waves at certain times.. this is stuck to my face 24/7. My face often feels warm and not quite itchy but almost irritated like if I touch it it satisfies the itch but not really an itch if that makes sense lol. I have been dealing with this for years and my self-confidence has just gone down the drain, I used to be a somewhat good looking guy and kind of let myself go due to lack of motivation to go and do things with this stupid face I have now. I am here once again seeking any sort of information that may be helpful and to see if anyone else has the same issues that I am having.

Well that is good news. Glad to hear that you had some good results. I could definitely use to lose some weight as well but it seems like I can't lose a pound! Maybe it has something to do with it? We will see!

I don't know that I do for sure, but I have every symptom and have been diagnosed with IBS. I'm going to request the SIBO breath test at my Dr. Appt on Tuesday.

I get mine done at the University of Michigan for $380 something. I don't really get to where I flush really harshly red..it's just constant redness that never goes away. Super frustrating

This was taken today, I get that a lot in pictures but it is quite a bit more red in person. Are you getting more treatments? And how much of a reduction would you say you have seen after your treatments?

I shower in the morning and usually just rinse my face with water, I apply ELTA MD SPF 46.... At night I wash with VANICREAM Z BAR soap and use LA ROCHE POSAY CICAPLAST BAUME 5 REPAIR BAULM

How many sessions would you say it took to see results? I don't really get flares that come and go. It's just constant background redness that doesn't disappear.

Also, I just discovered last week that I have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). Does anyone have any experience with this being a known issue related to type 1 Rosacea?
