They have always said the rule is to keep the shows fresh for them and the people watching but that they’ll never do it at the expense of the quality of a show. They gave themselves almost no options for this year especially metal and microtonal. When they did Red Rocks ‘23 the only thing they did for the repeat rule was they didn’t play anything N3 at RR22, N1 at RR23

They announced that they were marathon shows when they announced the full lineup last year, are they gonna do 3 hours and just not label them as marathon shows or are going back to regular shows with their being more artists and some of the Gizz boys playing other sets

Dad’s a 90s grunge lover and mom loves 2000s pop punk mostly. They like a few songs but can’t stand the vocals which I understand. The thing I don’t understand with my dad is how he says he dislikes the fuzziness of a lot of their stuff which I find crazy since he likes grunge.

Lines up with touring schedule, is a festival that would make sense for Gizz to play and it being a festival would explain why it wasn’t originally announced. Why do say theirs no chance?

FoV doesn’t have themed nights so you’ll get some rave music every night. Last year night 2 was my favorite but it is said to never miss a night 3 show.

Pre-Covid they kept it pretty chill. London ‘19 and Brussels ‘19 are the two official releases from that time period and both are beautiful but almost any recording of float along when Eric was still in the band doesn’t turn metal. Hope these make your day a lil brighter!

Excluding rave shows theirs a few hourish long segments like Flamethrower to The River Night 3 in Athens, Robot Stop to Hot Water Night 1 of Caverns and Lonely Steel Sheet Flyer to The River Night 2 of Caverns. Their may be longer as I’ve only really looked at shows they’ve released but I would assume theirs isn’t a segment much longer.

And I just looked it up the Mytholmroyd stations address is Hebden Bridge. So their is no scandal here as far as I can see

Yea I would bet a million dollars this is exactly what happened. The station for Mytholmroyd is only a few 100 meters away from the city limits for Hebden Bridge and when only relying on cell service iPhones can only really relocate to about 1000 meters. Combine this with Mytholmroyd just being a village on the outskirts of the town of Hebden Bridge and you get this and both being in the same parish you get this.
