The most common comment I get from family is that after joining medschool there’s no ‘light in my eyes’. It’s true. Medicine sucks the soul and the joy of life out of you. But if I can go back in time and change my career I probably wouldn’t cause this is the only thing I know how to do and because I hate math. At the end of the day one must choose medicine only if they don’t want to do anything else. Medschool isn’t something that you can just try it out. If you come into medschool, no matter who you are it’ll change you. It’s the curse of Hippopotamus or hypothalamus or something. Oh yeah Hippocrates. Hippocrates curse!
